I’m still working on a loose schedule for when I post things like run recaps and other things. I’ll post my “thinking posts” as I write them, but I want some kind of system for the other things. Otherwise, I’ll just end up getting on all the time again.

Here’s the leg lift hold video I was challenged to make. It’s incredibly boring to watch, but I held it for 1:59

So this is how ab work typically goes.

I did cut out one set of oblique v-ups where you would see my backside the whole time.

This is from yesterday. I did 2 rounds of this plus a bit more later in the evening.

Our friends dropped by to give up the b-day cards their boys made for Jeremy and brought a balloon for Ryland.

This is the first time he’s seen a balloon.

This is the second song I made for Ryland. I can sing this one to any other children with which we may be blessed in the future.

I have a really quiet voice, and the volume on my camera isn’t the best, so if you care to listen, you may need to turn it way up.

We do swaddle him in a baby sheet, though. He likes to be swaddled, but is very hot natured, so we leave him in his diaper and wrap him up like this, but tighter:

• my pants are all falling off and I don’t understand it
• I’m also losing more hair in the shower and while combing and I don’t know if that means I’m not eating enough or if it’s because of sleep deprivation.
• Yesterday a woman said, “Wow, look at you!” when we told her Ryland was 4 days old and she saw me. Then we told her we adopted.
• I haven’t exercised at all except some walking around yesterday. I plan to workout a little in the hotel room tomorrow after Jeremy leaves while I’m waiting for my dad to get down here.

My last set of 32 v-ups, unless I miscounted. They get pretty sloppy once I get tired, but the first 16 or so are pretty tight (though blurry in the video).
