Yay for good runs!


I did stop sweating, but it was just before I hit 6 miles, so I went ahead and finished it. I wasn’t pushing hard until the last 1.1, which I ran in 9:47- a sub-9:00 pace. 
It was so humid you could feel it when you breathe, but I think I just handle it better in the evenings.
Nice things from the run:
a raccoon on a half-developed street connecting 2 subdivisions
an elderly lady that waved at me like an old friend
lots of fathers playing with their children on the playground
couples working out together
a driver that waved pleasantly at me while he passed
All of these things cancel out the cat-call I got on the first stretch down a very busy street.
Now it’s time to go home & have Jeremy time and hopefully not get hit in the face again*.

SoS:

5/22: 133.8 lbs, 26” waist

5/23: 133.8 lbs, 26” waist

5/24: 134.8 lbs, 26” waist

5/25: 135.0 lbs, 26” waist

5/26: X-out of town

5/27: x, 25 7/8” waist (still out of town, but remembered to measure)

5/28: 135.0 lbs, 26” waist

5/29: 134.0 lbs, 26 1/8” waist 

5/30: 133.2 lbs, 25 7/8” waist

So I definitely needed all that food I ate yesterday

Workout:

Since I didn’t get out in the morning, I rode the recumbent bike 4.59 mi. in 15 min.

then I did my pilates-based leg workout that (I think) helps my hip.

And then scraped for 35 minutes which toasts my arms & especially shoulders every time. I really think that scraping the paint off the walls & ceiling is the secret to having these shoulders:

Tomorrow my 2 tumblr-related priorities are to finally make my Warrior Dash post and get those addresses out for the CD exchange. Sorry I’ve been slacking on that. 

I’m going to plan to give blood in the afternoon tomorrow after my run and I’ll make sure I even drink more than usual. then Friday will be a rest day or maybe something super light in the evening. thanks for such speedy input!

I had to make sure to include the bicycle on my awesome vintage sweater tank.
So far today, I had KK’s (anyone know the reference) for breakfast but turned down Wendy’s for lunch, so I’m still set to get my LDLC food point for the day.

I really think that if I can make it through 1 week of eating as I should, I’ll be in a place to maintain “for real.”  Right now some of my jeans are ever-so-slightly tighter than I prefer. Though the difference will most likely be imperceptible to anyone else, even Jeremy, I do want to slip down just a bit.
