
Gun Show Thursday- Tuesday Edition
While setting up for my fruit photo, I decided to take a picture flexing. I guess it kind of further illustrates the point of muscle v. fat.
And just because you have definition when you flex doesn’t mean your arms look that way all the time:


Back on my old blog, I posted this photo based on info I saw on a since forgotten website I found it. Well, it now has well over 2,000 notes, more than any thing else I’ve ever posted. It’s even on pinterest.
I decided to make the comparison even more visual by holding 3 grapefruit and 3 tangerines in front of my body. I tried holding all 6 pieces of fruit at once, but I kept dropping them before the self timer would go off.

Gun show Thursday- Progress? Edition
These were taken nearly exactly a year apart- the top is from 1/20/11, the first wide-spread gun show Thursday and the bottom is from today 1/19/12
You can tell I only workout my arms about 1x/week on average to have made only tiny progress. That’s ok, though. I don’t really want arms that would get me attention when I’m sleeveless.

Is it possible that part of my “pooch” is actually muscle?
You would have to see my progress blog to know why I’m wondering this.
Yes, I did drive back to the library just to post progress pics & ask this question.
The pics aren’t great quality because they’re from my little camera, but whatever…
Also, if you’ve sent me a message any time in the last 2 weeks and I haven’t answered it, then I will by the end of next week.

Gun show Thursday- weird angle edition
I reeeeally want to get in on the 100 push ups challenge. My wrist still hasn’t stopped hurting. I’m almost to the point where I want to say “forget it” and just do stuff anyway.
That’s how I got with my hip. Running doesn’t really make it hurt more than not running, so I might as well run.
