I haven’t posted a post-run face pic in a while…
Since I’m between plans this week until I start FIRST next week, I decided that 7 miles would be a nice number to hit today- long enough to help build endurance but not so long that I won’t be able to play sports full force at the retreat tomorrow.
However, my old friends enemies the goosebumps decided to rear their ugly heads. I kept going until I could also feel them on my face & legs (usually they’re just on my arms).

My target long-run pace is 9:17, so I did well on that front, and my splits are decent, so that is good, too.
Then I started walking back to the park. I walked 2 the park and 1 lap (0.6 mi.) around it and the goosebumps had finally gone away, so I ran 1 lap. They came back, so I walked a partial lap:

You can see the part where I ran in the pace graph. Counting the walking, I did get over 7 total, and when I walk, you can see that it’s usually 14:00-15:00 pace, so it’s not a stroll.
When I got home, I did some ab exercise.
