Finally doing this! I hope I’ve never said these before.

  1. I’ve always been incredibly good at standardized tests. I scored almost the very highest score on the one we took in 8th grade- higher than the girl who ended up graduating 4th in our class of 575. (I was 30-something.)
  2. I have written several songs. They’re mostly praise songs, but I also wrote a melody for a tune my mom wrote for the graduates from church and I wrote one for Jeremy when we were dating. I’ve only completed the harmonies for one song, and it was one I wrote in high school.
  3. I always take notes during sermons & Bible class (and school back in the day) because otherwise, I’ll completely space out.
  4. I noticed on Sunday that in these notes that when I abbreviate the names of the books of the Bible, I only put a period after Proverbs (Pr.), but not any of the others.
  5. I’ve always been cold-natured, even at my highest weight. I try to remember to bring a jacket or sweater to restaurants, even when it’s 95 outside.
  6. On that note, I have a sweater I keep on a pew at the church building, but I usually bring another one, too, so I can have one on my legs and one to wear normally.
  7. My high school chorus teacher encouraged us to sing different parts for each song we performed. We got to pick which part we sang, and in one concert, I sang Soprano 1 & 2, Alto 1 & 2, and Tenor 1. The only exception was our Festival concert that was judged.
  8. I think it’s because of this that I like to sing a different part on each verse when singing in worship.
  9. I forgot what I had in mind for this one because I went to check another site. oops.
  10. I’m super excited for this weekend because it’s our family retreat at camp! (This is not a fact about me, but whatever.)
