We best get internet outside, but we also have mosquitoes. Last night I applied bug spray and still got bitten. Tonight I’m wearing pjs even though it’s still pretty hot, and they bite me through my clothes.
Why must I be so tasty?
So anyway, my run…
It was supposed to be warm up then 4x800 intervals at 7:40 pace with 400m walking between. Once again, my Garmin cut my 2nd run interval in half and combined it with my 1st walk interval, so my laps ended up like this:

If you look at my ave. moving pace, I only hit my target pace pretty well on the last lap. All the others were too fast. I guess that will only make me stronger, right?
Then I did a cool down with some extra running:

I walked 0.1 mi to catch my breath, ran 0.5 at a moderate pace, walked 0.1, sprinted for ~30 sec., then walked the rest of the way to my car:

I noticed that when I was walking, I could walk at a sub-14:00 pace fairly comfortably, so I decided to see how fast I could walk. I got all the way down to 11:20. It’s good to know that if I even have to lay off running and go lower impact, I can be a pretty good speed walker.
Time to go back inside…

Wow…that’s fast walking. My wife walks fast like that and I can’t keep up with her unless I run.
