16. Do you carry water or powerfood with you while running? If so, how and what kind?

When it’s hot, I always either carry water or run loops where I can get to my bottle. When it’s cooler, I carry water if I’m running 5 or more miles. I carry Sports Beans if I’m running over an hour and usually eat 2 beans every mile. 
17. How many miles a week are you usually running and what’s your normal pace? How would you like to improve this?

I usually run anywhere from 15-25 mi/ week. In the summer, my average pace is around 9:00/ mi. Before it got so hot, nearly all my runs were under 9:00.  I’m not really worried about pace right now. I’ll figure out new goals in the fall when it cools off.
18. What are your PRs? Time, distance?


mile: 6:59.59

5k: 24:45

half marathon: 1:57:27

Only the half was in an official race. I don’t remember PRs for any other distance.
