Gun show Thursday!
This one is way blurry, but my arm looks awesome:
I tried another fasted run today:
0.6 mi. splits: 4:48 (a guesstimate), 4:31, 4:35
The reason the 1st is a guess is because my watch came off and I had to find it while the clock was still running. When I completed my lap, it said 4:58, and I spent at least 10 sec. looking for it.
Between intervals, I did 6 knees-to-elbow on the rings. I would’ve done more in each set if I realized I’d have to cut the workout in half.
When I got home, after eating and doing a couple of things while my food settled, I jumped rope for 5 minutes. I completed 585 jumps. My first 262 were unbroken, a major record for me.
Before I did my jump rope workout, I tried taking some pictures of myself jumping rope. Ohmygoodness. Those were the worst pictures everrrr. In a couple I look like I’m 60 years old. I’m not exaggerating. I’m not going to be a pretty old woman once my round cheeks turn into jowls.
Then I scraped, got cleaned up, ate lunch, gave blood.
Also, I have a question for those who have access to my progress blog (or who want to see it) and are knowledgeable about such things: I really would like to have a 6-pack just for fun for my 30th birthday. It’s not something I would try to maintain because food. It would just be a one time thing. If you get a chance, can you swing by my prog blog and let me know if this is a realistic, healthy goal by Aug. 12.
