Making Myself Better

I’ve been mostly staying away from the scale lately except for tracking water loss. This mostly started with the binging/secret eating I was doing too much of lately because knowing the water weight gain would just make things worse.
I’ve been feeling pretty good about how I look from the front. Yesterday I started to think about maybe continuing to stay off the scale and maybe try to go for a legit 6-pack just to have one once and then when I get it, I’ll weigh myself and all that. But then when I was looking at myself in the mirror, I saw the “chest ribs” (as I call them), so now I’m not sure. (Sorry for that crazy sentence.) Is having (slightly) visible chest ribs a sign of being too thin? I really don’t understand how that could be because I have plenty of cushion fat in other places. It’s still something I’m thinking about, though.

  2. backtosize said: Even when I was a bit overweight I still had collarbones and the ribs in the chest kinda show when I breathe. when i was getting in higher numbers is when they began to cover more.
  3. fitnerd said: My ribs have been visible my whole life. I have a very disproportionate rib cage (does this mean I have super size organs? Maybe) so I just try not to worry about it. Also- LOVE your shirt.
