1- 5 current running goals: I just met a few I had set, so I’ll have to make up some new ones, I suppose…

  1. Run 360 total miles between 2/12/12 & 8/12/12 (my last running goal for 30by30)
  2. 7 miles in an hour (my current goal)
  3. PR a half marathon (under 1:57:27)
  4. beat my fastest mile time (6:59.6)
  5. beat my fastest 5k time (24:45)

12- How often do you run?

every other day, so either 3 or 4 times a week

14- My lowest point while running

Those 3 or 4 years when I pretty much stopped completely

17- What changed since I started running?

When I started in high school, it was just for run. I would goof off with my friends in practice, take short cuts and walk up the hills. I didn’t like pushing hard (unless it was sprinting). For me, a good run was one on which I got to run through some people’s sprinklers and laugh with my friends, unlike the serious runners who would collapse on the football field when they got bad to school.

Now I do push myself. It makes me wonder how good I could’ve been if I had tried harder back then, but I don’t regret having fun.
