I recently read Running with the Mind of Meditation: Lessons for Training Body and Mind by Tibetan lama Sakyong Mipham, the leader of Shambhala Buddhism and a veteran of 9 marathons, with a PR of 3:09 in the Edmonton Marathon and a 3:20 in the Boston Marathon.
