That pain I mentioned in my last post has grown worse throughout the day, likely exacerbated by holding Ryland since the left side is my holding arm.
It’s even radiated out so that my right shoulder hurts, too. Hanging up the laundry to dry was not a fun task this evening.
I had a pretty productive day despite the pain and managed to do well again with eating intuitively.

After less than a week of pulling up to stand, he’s already one-handing it and transferring from one object to another (couch to coffee table/ my knee to the chair).
A few minutes ago he tried letting go and standing on his own. Fortunately he landed on his bottom and not his head/face this time.

But I suppose it’s for the best that I didn’t run because this morning I ran my foot into the the rocking chair in Ryland’s room, and now my foot is slightly swollen just above my right outside ankle and even walking is a bit painful.

Avocado is a huge success.
I broke some into tiny pieces and let him self-feed. He ended up with 4 or 5 pieces in his mouth at a time because he kept sticking more in his mouth.
Depending on how he eats other things today, i may give him another slice later.
I’m impressed with some of the things he can eat plain.
In fitness news, I won’t be able to run again until Sunday or Monday because of the weather....

Since he’ll be 8 months Saturday, I was going to start trying some foods like that, along with possibly egg yolks (not together) after then.

Bought 2 food today for Ryland that I don't like...
I got him bananas (which he tried yesterday and liked) and an avocado. If he doesn’t like the avocado plain (and who could blame him- ick!), I can mix it with fruits.
I was really wanting something dense in calories to help him gain weight. If he likes avocado, that should help.
And just so you know how much I dislike bananas, I was holding back gags while pinching off pieces for him...
